At Great-Grand Tales, we bring students and elders together through the simple act of conversation. Students ask the questions that too often go unasked. Elders share the stories that too often go untold. The stories matter, but so does the moment between two people, across generations, where one says to the other: your life is worth knowing.
WHAT WE DO
The Three Pillars
01. Listen
We sit down with elders and ask the questions most people forget to ask. We follow wherever the conversation goes. Just two people across a table.
02. Write
We shape what we hear into stories and narratives. Every piece is written with care and reviewed and approved by the person whose life it tells.
03. Connect
Every story is the result of connection between a young person and an elder. That exchange—across generations and time—is the whole point.
